About Us

Dell Dorpers Australia was established in 2004. The stud breeders are John Dell & Moozie van Niekerk. There are currently 150 breeding ewes in the stud which are mostly pure John Dell genetics from South Africa. Every year 100 embryos from the very best South African Dell donors are collected in South Africa and implanted in Australia to upgrade the Australian Stud. Dell Dorpers is one of the oldest studs in South Africa. In April 2009 John Dell Dorpers, south africa had its 50th anniversary. Dell Dorpers is located 40 minutes from Echuca.
